Bruno the male Cheetah has arrived back after a long visit to Colchester Zoo, where he sired 3 healthy cubs with their female. A male Red River Hog has arrived from Howletts Wild Animal Park, to join the female that arrived in April. |

A second Miniature Donkey called Jake has been born, to mum Kate. A second group of Meerkat babies has been born. A male baby Alpaca has been born. |

Four baby Meerkats have been born, to parents Kalahari and Timon. Some baby Skunks have also been born, to parents Fifi and Takoda. |

A pair of Fennec Foxes have arrived. The male, Ascarii, came from the Czech Republic and the female, Mali, came from Augsburg Zoo in Germany. They will remain off-show for the next few months while they undergo their quarantine period. |

Damisi, the infamous dancing Gorilla, has arrived from Paignton Zoo, to join resident female Buu in a new breeding pair for the European Breeding Programme. |

A pair of Philippine Spotted Deer have arrived. The male, two years old, came from Mulhouse Zoo in France, and is now also named Mulhouse since he arrived without a name. The female, also two years old, came from Chester Zoo and is called Pandan. This is one of the most endangered of deer species, with only about 200 left in the wild, and are already extinct on three of their five native islands. Habitat loss is the main threat. |

An Elephant Beetle called Billy has arrived, following its discovery in a box of bananas at a London fruit importer. Update: Billy has now been joined by Betty, a female from a private collection in Germany. |
