Advertising Terms and Conditions

If you submit an application to advertise your business on ('this site'), you will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions described here.


By submitting text or pictures for use in your advertisement, by whatever means, you are asserting that you own or have obtained sufficient license to the copyright in those materials to authorise us to publish them on this site and in any other downloadable form we may provide to our users. You thereby agree to indemnify us against any breach of copyright that may arise from our use of the materials you supply.

Payment of Fees

You agree to pay in full our fees for advertising and other services within 30 days of our invoice. If you fail to pay for your advertising by this time, we will remove your advert from our system until we receive your payment.

We will link your selected attraction page(s) to your main advertisement page (full package), or website (basic package), within 5 working days of receiving your payment. Your first advertising period will start when we do this.

The position of advertisement panels on each attraction details or news archive page of this site is organised on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, normally according to the time at which your application is received by us. If you do not pay within the period specified above, this will also affect the position of your panel(s): we will then use your time of payment to position your panel(s), instead of time of application.

You will be notified by us that renewal of your advertising subcription is due approximately 30 days before your current advertising period expires. If you pay your renewal fees in full by the expiry date, the position(s) of your advert panel(s) will be maintained. If you fail to renew your subscription by this date, your advertisement will be suspended from our system until we receive your payment. You will also loose your position on the relevant attraction page(s): when your advertisement is reinstated, it will be positioned as if you had applied for a new advertisement.


You may cancel your advertising order within 30 days from the date of our invoice, and no fee will be due.

If you pay for your advertising in advance of our invoice, you may cancel your order within 30 days from the date of our receipt, and you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel your advertising order after 30 days from the date of our invoice/receipt, we will remove your advertisement from our system, but no refund will be due.

If an attraction with which your advertisement has been associated is removed from our system during your current advertising period, then you will be given the option of associating yourself with another attraction, or cancelling your advertisement. If you choose to cancel, you will receive a refund for the remaining complete calendar months of your advertising period. If this attraction is the only one with which you are associated, the refund will be calculated from your entire fee, and your main advertisement page will also be removed. Otherwise, the refund will be calculated from the appropriate number of additional advert panel fees, and your main page and other panels will be unaffected.

Updates and Corrections

Once your advertisement is on our system, you are entitled to submit minor changes to it up to 4 times per year, at no charge. This limit does not include changes to correct spelling mistakes or typing errors; these will be implemented for free. A minor change is one that replaces, adds, or removes a small amount of text (eg. 10% or less of your existing advert) or pictures. We reserve the right to decide whether a change is minor or not. Additional or more extensive changes will be subject to our update fee. We will invoice you for any update fee, and will not implement your changes until we receive your payment.


When you apply to advertise your business on this site, you must supply contact information in the form of your name, (ie. person to contact, not business name), e-mail address, postal address, and (optionally) telephone number. We will only use this information to contact you about your advertisement, relevant changes to this site, other similar sites we may develop in the future, and our other services. We will not voluntarily supply this information to any other party, unless legally required to do so.

The customer contact information you supply to us for inclusion in your advert, to allow your potential customers to contact you directly, will also only be used for this purpose. We will not voluntarily supply it to any other party, unless legally required to do so.

We will endeavour to protect your customer contact information displayed within your advertisement (eg. the e-mail address you provide for your potential customers to contact you) from abuse by other parties such as spammers. However, we accept no liability for any losses or inconvenience that may arise from any failure in this respect. We reserve the right to change the techniques we use to acheive this at any time.
