Two young female Tigers have arrived from Wuppertal Zoo, Germany. Tschuna is an Amur Tiger and is 18 months old, while Daseep is a Sumatran Tiger and 17 months old. |

A pair of Giant Anteaters have arrived, to form the only pair in Ireland. Named Pancho and Kara, they have come from Duisburg and Halle Zoos in Germany as part of the European breeding programme. |

Sid the Linne's Two-Toed Sloth, who was born last April, has now re-joined her mother on-show in Twilight World. She had to be hand-reared by keepers after her mother Light Cap fell ill shortly after giving birth. Although Light Cap made a full recovery, she was by then no longer producing enough milk for her baby. |

A baby male Rothschild's Giraffe has been born, to parents Janica and Yoda. Update (March): The baby has now been named Valentino, and he is being hand reared by keepers following rejection by his mother. |

A group of 12 Squirrel Monkeys, 8 females and 4 males, have arrived from Apenhaul Zoo, the Netherlands, to join the resident group of males and form a new breeding group, once they have completed their quarantine period. |

Georgie, a baby female Vicuna, has been born to parents Douglas and Colonia. Vicunas are the smallest member of the Camel family, and look similar to Llamas. |

A male Aldabra Giant Tortoise called Darwin has arrived from the Seychelles. He is the first to be donated by the Seychelles government to the UK. He is 25 years old, quite young for the species, which can live up to 150 years, and becomes the fourth of his species at the Park. |

A baby Ring-Tailed Lemur has been born, to parents Phoebe and Frank. Update: the baby is now known to be a boy, and has been named Sheldon. |
