William (Billy) the Windsor White Goat has returned to the Children's Farm after 8 years as regimental mascot to the 1st Battalion the Royal Welsh. He will be off-show for 30 days for obligatory health checks before he joins the farm paddock. |

Two baby Black and White Ruffed Lemurs have been born, to parents Liberty and Louis. They are likely to remain in the nest box for about 2-3 weeks before being brought out into the main enclosure by their mum. |

A baby female Eastern Black Rhinceros has been born to mum Ema and dad Magadi., the second in just 8 months. - more great news for this endangered species, which has only about 700 left in the wild. Update: the baby has now been named Bashira. |

A baby male Bactrian Camel called Alba has been born, the fifth for mum Mitzi and the second for dad Stavros. Great news for this critically endangered species, for which there are only around 1000 left in the wild. |

A male Bronze-Winged Pigeon has arrived, to join the resident female. A new exhibit featuring Giant Millipedes, Hissing Cockroaches, Fruit Beetles and Giant Land Snails has been created in the Lowland House. |
