Kabir the 14-year old Lion has arrived from Longleat Safari Park. He joins Connie, the existing 11-year old female who recently lost her companion Ronnie from old age. |

Two male White Bengal Tiger cubs, nicknamed Mischief and Mayhem, have been born, to parents Tikva and Tahaas. They join the largest family group of such Tigers in the UK, with six adults and one other youngster. |

A pair of Yellow-Footed Tortoises have arrived from Colchester Zoo. Called Victor and Margaret Meldrew in tribute to the tortoise in the One Foot In The Grave title sequence, they have taken up residence in the new Clore Rainforest Lookout exhibit. |
