Description

The Seaview Wildlife Encounter, formerly known as Flamingo Park, is located on the B3330 between Ryde and Seaview on the Isle of Wight. It occupies a site on a gentle slope overlooking the Solent. Home to a diverse collection of exotic and rare birds and animals, this award-winning park emphasises fun, interactivity and involvement, with a daily programme of events and presentations. This includes the opportunity to stroke and feed some of the birds and animals, and view them from really close quarters.

Opened in 2005 the Tropical House, one of the largest tropical aviaries in the UK, showcases and helps to conserve the rare bird, animal, and plant life of tropical islands around the world. This impressive attraction features typical habitats from coast to tropical forest.
