How To Get There:

By Car

Note to Satnav users: the postcode above appears to relate to a private house in Sugar Well Road; the entrance to the farm is at the eastern end of the road.

From Leeds City Centre:

Take the A58 north-east out of the city centre, towards Wetherby, to its junction with the A61. At the traffic lights where the A61 merges from the right, take the leftmost lane and turn left into Meanwood Road.

From the south-east and eastern parts of the city, follow the A61 north, or A64 west to their junction. Continue on the A61 north to its junction with the A58. Follow the one-way system left then right, taking the left-hand lane through the right-hand corner so that you end up on the left of an island at the next set of traffic lights. Then continue straight across the A58 into Meanwood Road.

Continue along Meanwood Road north-west towards Meanwood for about 1.5 miles, past the Penraevon Industrial Estate to a small area of open parkland on the right, and wooded on the left. Take the next turning right into Farm Hill (South), then next right again into Sugar Well Road. The entrance to the Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is then at the far end of this road.

From the A6120 northern ring road (west):

Follow the A6120 east to its junction with the A660. Turn right at the roundabout onto the A660, and follow it south and south-east towards the City Centre. Continue for about 1.3 miles to the traffic lights at the crossroads with Shaw Lane (B6157 / B6159) and St. Anne's Road. Turn left here into Shaw Lane, towards Meanwood, then fork right at the next junction onto the B6159 Grove Lane. Continue along Grove Lane for about 0.7 miles, to the traffic lights at the crossroads with Meanwood Road. Turn right here, then take the next turning left, into Farm Hill (South). Take the next turning right again into Sugar Well Road, and the entrance to the Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is at the far end of the road.

From the A6120 northern ring road (east):

Follow the A6120 west to its junction with the A61. Turn left at the roundabout onto the A61 towards the City Centre. Turn right at the next roundabout (4th exit) onto the B6157 Stonegate Road towards Meanwood. Follow the B6157 for about 2 miles, to the end of Stonegate Road. Follow the normal flow of the road to fork left into Meanwood Road (the B6157 continues `straight-on' here into Monk Bridge Road). Follow Meanwood Road south-east, across the crossroads with the B6159 (traffic lights), then take the next turning left, into Farm Hill (South). Take the next turning right into Sugar Well Road, and the entrance to the Meanwood Valley Urban Farm is at the far end of the road.
