Description

The Cotswold Falconry Centre is located in Batsford Park, next door to the Batsford Arboretum, about 1 mile from Moreton-in-Marsh. The centre offers visitors the chance to see a variety of birds of prey, including falcons, hawks, eagles, owls, vultures, caracara, kites, and secretary birds, at much closer quarters than would be possible in the wild. You may also get to hold one of the birds during the regular daily flying displays. The centre now has 60 species, of which 29 have bred since the centre opened in 1988. A few species may be off show at any given time for breeding or moulting.

The Owl Wood Project, opened in 2005, features a number of aviaries in a natural woodland setting, and houses a selection of British and other owl species. It is also equipped with CCTV and infra-red cameras for viewing the secretive comings and goings to a variety of owl nest sites.

The centre also offers a variety of special experience days and falconry courses. See the centre's website for details and gift vouchers.
